Boom of attendance in the three days of Easter and Easter Monday in Bra that also this year offered a rich program of initiatives to spend a long weekend between tradition and innovation.
Many visited the Craft Show set up for three days at the Movicentro while Sunday was marked by the solemn Easter procession. On Easter Monday, as usual, the zootechnical fair took place, now in its 145 edition. Among the winners, first place winners in the female thigh category Tibaldi Marco and Dino di Bra; for the Piedmontese calves category of the thigh male Luigi Vallino of Marene and for the category of castrated bulls Tibaldi Davide and Alberto di Bra. In both categories Piedmontese cows and bulls won Stefano Mulassano di Bra. Awarded as the heaviest animal at the fair, a bull of around 1070 kilograms. The acknowledgment to the oldest breeder present at the fair went to Luigi Vallino, the one for the youngest to Andrea Silvestro. Lots of people have poked around the street food stalls and stands in Piazza Giolitti and Piazza Caduti di Nassiriya, also appreciating the sausage-based Mac 'd Bra sandwich, while this year the barbecue prepared by the Via Montegrappa canteen recorded sold out. In the afternoon the traditional transhumance and the Tre Lilu concert "Abbassiamo gli toni" took place.
